CHEM 3711 Biochemistry I

Study of the chemistry of biological systems with emphasis on fundamental macromolecules with regard to structure and function. Exploration of major metabolic pathways and their energy relationships. First of a two-semester sequence. Corequisite: CHEM 3711L. Offered only in the fall of even years.
