WELL 2110 Conditioning Swimming

To develop and/or improve cardiovascular and respiratory fitness through swimming. This course does not count toward the total hours required for graduation.

WELL 2250 Intro to Mixed Martial Arts

This course is designed to introduce students to a beginner level of knowledge about Mixed Martial Arts. The course will focus on the assessment and implementation of Mixed Martial Arts training with emphasis on boxing, kickboxing, grappling, self-defense, flexibility, reaction time, speed and agility. This course does not count toward the total hours required for graduation.

WELL 2300 Weight Training I

An introduction to the basic skills of weight training. This course does not count toward the total hours required for graduation

WELL 2310 Weight Training II

Pre-requisite: WELL 2300. Provides students with further exposure to the methods and strategies of weight training.

WELL 2400 Aerobic Dance

An introduction to the methods and strategies of aerobic dance. This course does not count toward the total hours required for graduation.

WELL 2500 Weight Control

An introduction to the methods and strategies of weight control including exercise and proper nutrition.

WELL 2600 Racquetball I

Instruction in the rules, skills and strategies of racquetball. Students will gain an appreciation for how racquetball can contribute to a healthy lifestyle. Safety glasses must be provided by the student and must be worn at all times during this class. This course does not count toward the total hours required for graduation.

WELL 2610 Racquetball II

Pre-requisite: WELL 2600. For students who possess a degree of proficiency at racquetball. Emphasis on improving existing skills, advanced shotmaking, and singles and doubles strategies. Safety glasses must be provided by the student and must be worn at all times during this class.

WELL 2650 Handball I

Instruction in the rules, skills and strategies of handball. Students will gain an appreciation for how handball can contribute to a healthy lifestyle. Safety glasses must be provided by the student and must be worn at all times during this class. This course does not count toward the total hours required for graduation.

Activity courses of a more advanced nature that are offered in response to current exercise trends and interests. Instructor and topic will vary.
