The Wellness and Recreation Center

The Georgia College Wellness and Recreation Center is located at the West Campus Center near The Village housing complex, intramural fields and collegiate athletics fields.  Four university programs are housed in the center and include: Wellness Programs, Recreational Sports, Student Health Services, Counseling Services.  The center's natatorium has two pools for classes, recreation and individual fitness.  The recreation pool is a twenty-five yard competition pool and the leisure pool is a shallow warm water pool for rehabilitation, fun or relaxation.  The natatorium also houses a 150 seat spectator seating area, two twelve-feet high climbing walls, water polo and diving boards.  In addition to the natatorium the center has an indoor track, over 100 pieces of state-of-the-art exercise equipment, a group fitness studio and a twenty-nine feet high climbing rock wall.  The center is open to all full-time students and registered community members seven days a week.
