Foreign Language Requirement
Demonstrate competence in one foreign language at the level of the fourth university course (2002).
Electives
Students are strongly encouraged to use their elective hours to develop a minor concentration in another field related to their career aspirations, or to choose a secondary area in music (theory, history, composition, second instrument).
For students who must take the 1001, 1002, and/or 2001 foreign language courses, these courses will be applied to electives and will reduce the total number of elective credits available.
