Prerequisites: BIOL 1100 or BIOL 1107 or BIOL 1108 or BIOL 1120. This is a course for elementary childhood education majors that focuses upon the most fundamental aspects of biology and environmental science. Conceptual understanding through exploration and experimentation will be employed. Additional laboratory fee required; see semester course schedule for amount.
Prerequisites: ((CHEM 1151 and CHEM 1151L) or (CHEM 1211 and CHEM 1211L) or (PHYS 1111 and PHYS 1111L) or (ASTR 1000 and ASTR 1000L)) AND (MATH 1101 or higher). ISCI 2002 is an Area F course for an early childhood education major that focuses upon the most fundamental aspects of physics and chemistry. Conceptual understanding through exploration and experimentation will be employed to develop long--term connections to the formulaic components of the physical sciences.
