Other Major Requirements
- A grade of C or better must be earned in all PSYC and Area F courses counted toward the major.
- PSYC 1101, PSYC 2700, and PSYC 2800 are prerequisites to all PSYC 3000 level courses.
- Unless otherwise noted, courses may not be repeated for additional academic credit. Courses may be repeated to raise a grade, but the hours credited will only count once toward total hours earned.
- Students must take the Senior Exit Exam during the semester in which they graduate and pass it with a scaled score of 140 or higher. Students who do not earn at least a 140 on this exam must obtain a grade of C or higher in PSYC 4940 Senior Exit Exam Seminar.
- Students must successfully complete one of the Capstone options during their senior year. Students cannot use additional Capstone courses toward their Major Requirements.
- All Psychology majors must complete MATH 2600 Probability and Statistics. This course is a pre-requisite for PSYC 2700 and PSYC 2800 and may be used in either Area D or Area F.
Additional Requirements
- Students must show competence in a foreign language at the level of the second university course (i.e., 1002)
- A minimum of 39 hours overall (i.e., not necessarily in the major) must be at the 3000-4000 level.
