ANTH 4000 Physical Anthropology

The study of humans as biological organisms. Topics include: genetics, speciation, adaptation, evolutionary theory, primatology, paleopathology, modern human variation, and others. This course is repeatable for credit.

Pre-requisite: ANTH 1102 or ANTH 1104 or permission of instructor. An advanced course which covers the theories of the rise and fall of civilizations with case studies of ancient civilizations from around the world. (cross-listed with POLS 4600).
