English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Endorsement (Online)
The English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Endorsement Program is designed for any certified P-12 teacher who is interested in learning how to meet the needs more effectively of the students in his/her classroom. The program addresses the competencies required by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission's ESOL Endorsement
Students in the ESOL Endorsement Program, do not have to take a GACE content test for adding the endorsement to their certificates. However, they must be recommended by the GC Certification Officer to the Professional Standards Commission.
Graduate Admissions Requirements:
1. University Graduate Admissions Application Form including application fee, if applicable.
2. Two professional recommendations using the College of Education recommendation form.
3. Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended (except Georgia College). Applicants must hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution to be eligible for admission into a graduate program at Georgia College.
4. Minimal GPA of 2.5
