POLS 4715 International Relations Theory
Prerequisite: POLS 2401 or permission of instructor. A study of international relations theory beginning with the importance of theory and levels of analysis, then moving on to a focus on the dominant theoretical approaches in the field. Special attention is paid to realism, liberalism, constructivism as well as post-positivist approaches of post-modernism and critical theory.
