Focuses on the physical and emotional development of young children.

Focuses on the development of professional dispositions including but not limited to the understanding of early childhood as a profession; the importance of reflection, collaboration, and advocacy; and the Georgia Code of Ethics for Educators.

Study, analysis, and application of learning theory in culturally diverse classrooms.

Overview of strategies and techniques for planning and implementing integrated curriculum.

Proactive strategies to manage behavior, time, and resources that support successful learning in the classroom.
