Music Minor

Students interested in minoring in Music must contact the Music department office about entrance requirements and auditioning.

Note: Many courses have prerequisites, and students should discuss their planning of their minor curriculum with a Music Advisor assigned to them by the Department Chair.

Requirements

Eighteen hours distributed as follows:

MUAP 1000-level	Lower Level Applied Study	3
MUEN 3000-level	Upper Level Large Ensemble	3
MUSC 1500	Music Theory I	3
MUSC 1510	Music Theory II	3
MUSC 1990	Recital Attendance	0

NOTE: Recital Attendance requirement: satisfactory completion of three (3) semesters of

MUSC 1990.

MUSC 1501 and MUSC 1511 are optional but highly recommended.
