Computer Science Elective
Satisfactorily complete one additional CSCI 3000-4000 level course.
Cognate Area
Satisfactorily complete four sciences from ASTR, BIOL, CHEM, ENSC, GEOL, and/or PHYS. Two of the sciences must be from the following list. Both the lecture and the companion laboratory course (when it exists) must be successfully completed to apply the credits from either course to this requirement. Area D sciences may be used to fulfill this requirement. Total science hours when combined with Area D must equal at least 15 hours.
Computer Science Capstone
Satisfactorily complete one of the following courses or an international studies experience approved by the department chair.
Concentration Options - Internetworks or Human and Computer Interface Design
Available to Computer Science majors in the fall of their Senior year.
These concentrations are satisfied by taking 12 semester hours at Georgia Tech, approved by the advisor and department chair. Courses are listed in the Information Internetworks Thread or the People Thread in the Georgia Tech catalog at the time the courses are completed.
Admission requirements to concentration:
- Minimum GPA: 3.4

- Complete Transient application for admission at Georgia Tech before July 1 prior to fall of Senior year. Advisor approval required.
- File petition with Georgia College for exception of the residency requirement.
Specific course requirements at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) are required for these concentrations. Please see your academic advisor for the current course requirements.
Note: Minimum grade of C or better required for all courses taken at Georgia Tech for these concentrations and student is required to request official transcripts be sent from Georgia Tech to Georgia College after the semester is completed.

Additional Degree Requirements
Satisfactorily complete all graduation requirements listed in the academic policies section of this catalog.
Earn a grade of C or higher in all CSCI courses.
