USG Core Learning Outcome: Students will apply mathematical and computational knowledge to interpret, evaluate, and communicate quantitative information using verbal, numerical, graphical, or symbolic forms.

GCSU Core Learning Outcome: Students will be able to interpret mathematical information and concepts in verbal, numeric, graphical, and symbolic form. 

Additional Information about this Area:

  • Students who have earned 30 overall hours but have not completed this Mathematics course must enroll in a course to complete this area every semester until the requirement is complete.
  • Students majoring in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics should consult the Field of Study requirements for their major to ensure that they complete core coursework that will also fulfill major course prerequisites.
