MUEN - Music Ensembles

Prerequisite: Instructor permission required for 0 credit. A non-auditioned choral organization focusing on the study and performance of classical music of all periods and styles. Open to all members of the University community. Additional special course fee required; see semester course schedule for amount.

A non-auditioned choral organization focusing on the study and performance of a variety of choral literature specifically for women's voices. Open to any female members of the University community. Prerequisite: Permission of the instructor required for 0 credit. Study and performance of music composed and arranged for a brass ensemble (trumpet, trombone, French horn, euphonium and tuba). This course is repeatable for credit.

Prerequisite: Permission of the instructor required for 0 credit. Study and performance of classical repertory for small instrumental groups, including, string ensemble, brass ensemble, woodwind ensemble, percussion ensemble and other combinations. The study and performance of scenes taken from various music-theatrical genres, including musical theater, opera, operetta and contemporary interdisciplinary forms.
