(VAR 1-4) Prerequisite: Permission of department. Consideration of topics in which courses are not otherwise offered, but for which there is a current need at the freshman/sophomore level. This course is repeatable for credit.

(VAR 1-6) Prerequisite: Permission of the instructor. Specific course topics will vary depending on the instructor. Students will take part in introductory undergraduate research projects that pertain to environmental science. This course is repeatable for credit. (This course is equivalent to BIOL 2999.)
